所谓“Poker Face”，指的喜怒不形于色的人，但12年前这首Poker Face》推出后，全球爆红的成绩，绝对是能人喜形于色。

《Poker Face》收录在女神卡卡（Lady GaGa）于2008年8月19日发行的首张专辑《The Fame》中。随后在2008年9月26日，以单曲形式再度发行。

女神卡卡这首与唱作人RedOne合写的电音流行舞曲，在全球音乐市场上取得巨大回响，登上20个国家的音乐排行榜冠军，让当年的女神卡卡，以新人之姿一跃成为国际天后。

销量方面，只是单曲部分，《Poker Face》便达920万份销量，而成为2009年度最畅销的单曲。隔年，获颁第52届格林美奖“最佳舞曲录制”奖项。

女神卡卡凭这支歌曲大放异彩，和探讨“名气”的《The Fame》专辑中其他歌曲，一样带有黑暗元素。她后来一次接受采访时，便透露歌曲其实是一首有关双性恋的歌曲，即关于一个女人在与男人交往的时候，又同时幻想着与女人在一起的故事。至于是否个人经验？她说大家要好好去细听《Poker Face》，才能来理解她心里的所思所想。
