Melania Trump has accused her husband’s first wife, Ivana Trump, of “attention-seeking and self-serving noise” after the first Mrs Trump joked that she was first lady.

在特朗普第一任妻子开玩笑表示她才是“第一夫人”后，梅拉尼娅指责丈夫的第一任妻子伊万娜的言论是“博取眼球、谋求私利的噪音”。

Ivana said she still spoke to her ex-husband about once every 14 days on a “direct number to the White House”.

伊万娜说，她与前夫依然保持联络，大约每14天会透过白宫的直线电话通话一次。

She was reluctant to call the president too often “because Melania is there, and I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that”.

她不想时常给总统打电话，“因为梅拉尼娅在那里，我不想造成任何争风吃醋之类的事情。”

She then added, laughing, “because I’m basically first Trump wife, OK? I’m first lady, OK?”

“Mrs Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the president. She loves living in Washington DC and is honored by her role as first lady of the United States. She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books，”wrote Melania Trump’s spokeswoman in a statement to CBS News.

梅拉尼娅透过发言人对CBS回应说﹕”特朗普夫人（梅拉尼娅）把白宫变成了巴伦（特朗普小儿子）和总统的家。她喜欢华盛顿的生活，并很荣幸成为美国的第一夫人。她准备用这一职衔来帮助儿童，而不是卖书。
